Monkeys and frozen muscles

My friend Jeffery J. Timbro added some winter spirit to my album cover

 Hi there,

Good memories from a coconut hunt

When I was a child, I learned how to climb before I could walk and my mother used to say that she accidently swapped me with her real daughter when they were in Africa, and that the real Jessica is now stuck with a monkey family.
To bad I wasn't old enough to understand jokes...
But than again, every winter I do get the feeling I should have been born under a palm tree.

After I got back from the tour in India it still hadn't snowed in Helsinki and I already started hoping that spring would be up next.
Not quite...
Mr. Winter was patiently waiting around the corner and surprised me with a -15 °C, one early morning jog.
After the warm sunshine in India it was like a slap in the face.
I obviously took it harder than last year, cause before I knew it, my legs were on they're way to a shop and came back with a Playstation.

After a couple of days of isolation, I managed to find back to reality and by the end of the day I had a very productive month.

Two weeks ago, I released a new music video / behind the scenes from India. If you haven't seen it, check it out! There's a lot of juicy details from the tour.

Not long after, I went to the TV show called "Tartu Mikkiin" ( karaoke game & performances), which can be seen in Finland the 28th of March.
When I got invited to the show, my first thought was, that it wasn't for me since I'm pretty far from an expert when it comes to songs in Finnish.

But my second thought convinced me that getting out of the comfort zone is the best way to learn,  and it didn't take long before I confirmed.
I had a lot of fun that day, met a lot of wonderful people as well as experiences and challenges.
Thanks guys for taking me on board!

With Jenni Seppälä "Nuppu", Linda Vink and Noora Louhimo

L4st but not least.
A couple of months ago the producer for 2 of my music videos, Mikko Löppönen, called me up and asked if I could play a role for a short action movie the following day.
Without knowing what I was doing I went to the shooting location, got welcomed by a bunch of freaky looking zombies and quickly got introduced to my character before the cameras started rolling.
Here's the result!

Now I'm heading to France to go to Midem ( a big music exhibition).
It's gonna be awesome, so If you're there between the 1.2 - 4.2, come by the Finnish pavilion and say hi!

Rock on!

New Music video from the tour!

Hey there,

Check out my new music video for the song "I Will Live On". The footage is taken from the Hard Rock Cafe tour in India last December. I hope you like it!

Other than releasing a new music video I just had a great songwriting session in Sweden together with Christian Berglund and Ludvig Algovik from "Beside the Bridge" https://www.facebook.com/BesideTheBridge
But the fun didn't end there, my good friend, David Blair, the most charming Canadian artist, is coming to Finland to do some gigs and visit me to write some songs etc. Can't wait!

Next year I'll wear a sumo costume!

Happy New Years!

After I got back from the tour in India,  I went up north to snowboard a couple of days before going back to Helsinki to celebrate New Years.

The 1st of January last year, I woke up with a chopped tooth, wounds and bruises all over after getting into a fight when my friend got attacked.

This year I woke up with a knee the size of a tennis ball, a twisted ankle and scratches. For some reason I thought it was a great idea to climb trees in the middle of the night.

I didn't make any New Years resolutions other than tying myself to a chair next year and not move until the party is over.

Now it's time to take it easy, go back to yoga classes, Kung-Fu, a healthy life style and role up the sleeves for the coming months.

My starter on the menu this year, is a 3 day song writing session in Sweden together with Christian Berglund (the brain behind one of my album songs "Want You Out Of My Head"). He is one talented guy!

After this I will move on to a TV show as well as the filming of a short action movie before heading to France for Midem by the end of this month.

Stay tuned!
