It's been a crazy week and it's getting even crazier. I'm still not sure what I did or how it's possible that Eric Gast comes all the way from New York to work on my album and didn't want to believe in it before I actually picked him up at the airport last Wednesday.
Next day we ran from one meeting to another from 11am to 12pm, ending with Eric meeting Squishy. They became buddies right away.
Next morning we went to Olli Saksas studio. It was in his studio everything started when I was 18 years old.
After working for about 8 hours we went back to town to meet Johnny Lee Michaels, before starting to work with him next day.
After spending the whole next day in the studio we went to a "One Piece" launch party.
Almost everyone was wearing one.
After a while I got introduced to Thomas Adams who came up with the concept.

It took him about two seconds to ask why I wasn't wearing a One Piece, and before I knew it I looked like a pink marshmallow. I think it's the most comfortable thing of awesomeness I ever wore. I can't believe he gave me one for free!
After another sleepless night with a slight "the day after"- feeling, I went to band practice early Sunday (still wearing the One Piece).
Later in the evening I went back to the studio with Johnny and Eric to work on some vocals.

A four hour sleep, an early wake and an hour later we arrived in Stockholm. Today we've been working with in the third studio in 4 days.
We've been laughing all day to the most stupid jokes because of our lack of sleep. Eric fell asleep in the chair and I've been drinking a few cups of "soup sized" coffees. |
